Abba YAH, I want to thank you for making all these things happen for the children at Baptist Children’s Homes. Thank you for being a Father to the fatherless. Thank you for providing memories. Thank you for your goodness, grace, and mercy. Thank you for taking them on a trip and allowing them to experience the ocean. All the glory belongeth unto you.
Because of your generosity, children at Baptist Children’s Homes experience moments they may never have had otherwise, moments filled with joy, safety, and hope.
For Ethan and his younger sisters, Emily and Eliza, this meant their first trip to the beach. At first, Ethan was afraid. The ocean was new, and when a storm rolled in, he held tightly to his sisters as thunder shook the cottage.But their cottage parents stayed calm, reassuring them they were safe. And when the storm passed, so did Ethan’s fear.The next day, he was in the water, laughing and playing, creating one of his best memories, a moment that turned fear into joy.

Brothers Jacob and John spent the day riding waves on their very own boogie boards during the beach trip with their BCH cottage.

Kara was amazed when she saw fish of all colors and sizes during her first visit to the NC Aquarium.

During a quiet moment at a summer getaway, 15-year-old Kyle opened up about how being at BCH helped him come to know Jesus as Savior.
