Not Appointed to Suffer Wrath but Appointed unto Salvation

One of the amazing benefits of being a believer is that you are not appointed unto wrath.

1 Thessalonians 5:9

For God did not appoint us to suffer wrath but to receive salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ.

God stores up wrath for the wicked. He has love for those who are His. When God’s wrath is upon you anything can happen-YAH’s hand of protection is not upon you. This doesn’t mean that the believer won’t have to go through anything. YAH has His appointed trials for His followers. They always come out triumphantly at the end. The wicked are like the tossing of the sea. They can’t look for hope, for she have forsaken them. The faithful will inherit the promises of YAH. The new heaven and the new earth belongs to them. The wicked looks forward to destruction, while it means deliverance for the righteous. Just wait a little while, and the wicked shall be no more. The righteous expectation shall not be cut off. They receive salvation through Yahusha. Yahusha has already paid the cost for all those who believe. Our disobedience was placed upon Yahusha. He bore our sins. There is not anymore wrath upon us, only trials that strengthen our faith. We go from glory to glory and from strength to strength.
